From Dancing Choreography to Choreographing Designs
At the beginning of my career, I started off as a freelance graphic designer in 2010, became a web designer & front-end developer in 2015, and formally transitioned into UX in 2018.
Throughout my design career, I continued apply UX methodologies towards my work in various industries such as financial services, travel & hospitality, health & wellness, personal & business development, performing arts, and online retail. Soon after I enrolled in a UX/UI design apprenticeship at Bloc.io in the summer of 2018 to further deepen my skills in UX and trained even more in my coding skills by completing a full-stack tech bootcamp called Nucamp in 2021.
Design and Front-end development have given me an opportunity to combine my creativity, critical thinking, logic and curiosity to build high-value outcomes for businesses. It’s a passion of mine that’s both challenging and rewarding, because I know I can make a positive impact that truly matters to a business and its customers.
Currently, I work remotely for Edward Jones. During my free time, I study the latest design, AI & development technologies. For fun I dance West Coast Swing with my girlfriend when I’m not nerding out at my desk. I’m also a huge fan of all-you-can-eat sushi and boba tea!
